Stranger Than Fiction

Harold reads Karen’s novel, tells her it’s perfect and not to change a thing. He accepts the fact that he will die. On the day of his death, Harold goes about his normal routine, but unknown to him, his watch is actually off by a few seconds. As he’s waiting for the bus, a boy rides his bike (whom we see throughout the movie) in front of the bus. Harold saves the boy and gets hit by the bus. He gets taken to the hospital where we learn he actually survives! Turns out Karen had changed the ending of her story, so Harold could live.
