District B13 (Banlieue 13)

Thanks to Damien and his contacts, Taha’s funds are completely emptied. His hired goons turn on him once they realize he can’t pay them anymore. They pummel Taha with bullets. Damien and Leito fight Taha’s men, but manage to get to the bomb on time and save Lola (Leito’s sister) as well (who had been about to set herself and the bomb on fire). Damien calls to get the code to stop the bomb from blowing up. Leito figures out that the code will actually detonate the bomb and tries to stop Damien from punching it in. They start fighting each other until the timer goes off. Nothing happens. Damien realizes Leito was right and finds out he was actually sent to destroy B13 and its people because the captains responsible for making the bomb thought it would be more sensible to destroy the ghetto area than to fix it up. He and Leito confronts the captains and threatens to set off the bomb unless they come clean about their plan. The captains confesses everything in front of a hidden camera which Damien and Leito had planted to expose them to the media.
