Serenity

An Operative from the Alliance tries to hunt down River and kill her. The Serenity crew are forced to flee. River’s blackouts eventually lead them to a planet called Miranda. It is there they discover River was once a prisoner of the Alliance and the dark secret that she holds is that the Alliance were the ones responsible for creating the Reavers after an experiment gone terribly wrong. Wash gets killed by the Reavers. After a tough battle with the Operative, Mal is able to transmit the proof about the Reavers to the verse. The Alliance becomes weakened, but not destroyed. The Operative allows Serenity to escape. Simon and Kaylee hook up. River becomes the pilot for Serenity.
