The zombies have gotten smarter, using weapons and tools and problem-solving skills to cross the river towards the city of Fiddler’s Green. Cholo steals Kaufman’s huge tank (filled with ammos and supplies), called the Dead Reckoning, intending to blow up Fiddler’s Green if Kaufman doesn’t give him money. Kaufman hires Riley to get Dead Reckoning back. The zombie leader called Big Daddy (Eugene Clark), who used to be a gas station attendant, leads the zombies into Fiddler’s Green, causing mayhem and death. Riley and his crew gets Dead Reckoning back and heads back towards Fiddler’s Green to save the people, while Cholo gets bitten by a zombie (and turns into a zombie soon after). Kaufman tries to escape the city, but almost gets eaten by Cholo the zombie and then gets killed in an explosion caused by Big Daddy. Riley and his crew reach the city and fires some missiles at the zombies who are feasting on their victims. When the smoke clears, a lot of surviving humans emerge. Riley decides not to kill Big Daddy and the remaining zombies because he figures they’re just looking for a place to live, like everyone else. He decides to go up north to Canada just as he always planned. His crews goes with him. As they are leaving, Riley tells one of his men to release the rest of the fireworks since they won’t be needing them anymore (fireworks have no effect on the zombies anymore).
