Turns out Darcy hates Wickham because Wickham had impregnated Darcy’s sister when she was 16. Lalita and Darcy manage to save Lalita’s sister, Lakhi (Peeya Rai Chowdhary), from Wickham’s clutches. Darcy and Lalita gets married at the same time as Jaya and Balraj do. Last scene shows both happy couples on elephants with “Just Married” signs on them and the whole town happily celebrating.
Comments? This was a fabulous movie. The whole movie was brought to life by the beautiful costumes, gorgeous and colorful settings, uplifting music and dancing, witty dialogues, and the undeniable chemistry between Rai and Henderson. This is a must-see for anyone who likes romantic comedies.
