Boogeyman
Starring: Barry Watson (Tim Jensen), Emily Deschanel (Kate), Skye McCole Bartusiak (Franny), Lucy Lawless (Mary Jensen)
This movie wasn’t too creative: After the boogeyman lays some 14A terror down for a while, the lost soul of a creepy little girl shows up and eventually tells our protagonist how to beat the Boogeyman: he must conquer his feer and face the boogeyman. He pulls that off with the help of his friend, a lead pipe. Too bad his efforts don’t save all the people the boogeyman already disposed of, nor the fears of the audience who were subjected to all the loud-noise type “scares”.
Maybe it was just me, but I felt the romantic angst between the protagonist and his long-lost cousin was scarier that the boogeyman himself.
