Jack talks to Hank and it turns out he’s known about the affair for a while, but just didn’t do anything about it. Hank comments that it’s easier to live with a woman when she feels loved. Jack breaks it off with Edith. Edith decides to leave Hank. He doesn’t understand why since the affair’s over, but she simply tells him it’s because she still can. Film ends with Edith driving away with her daughter to her mom’s house. Next morning, Jack rides his bike down the street.
