Bruce gets hit by a truck. God then asks Bruce what he really wants and he says he wants Grace to be happy and be with someone who loves her. Bruce suddenly wakes up in a hospital bed and finds prayer beads in his hand. He also sees his blood bag which says AB Positive and then sees Grace (she had donated her blood to him - they actually shared the same rare blood type!). They hug and make up; flash forward, Bruce and Grace are engaged. Bruce is doing a report on television; Then, we find out that the blind homeless man is actually God. God had been watching over Bruce all the time.
Personal comments about this movie? This movie turned out to be better than I thought it would be. I thought Jim Carrey just be up to his usual antics, like in Ace Ventura (a movie that I really hated), but the movie was actually pretty funny and meaningful. This is one of Jim Carrey’s better works.
