George tries to force his two eldest sons, Abdul and Tariq, into arranged marriages with two daughters from a Pakistan family (the Shah family). When the 2 families meet, trouble occurs with disastrous results. Saleem brings home a model of a female anatomy, which accidently ends up in Mrs. Shah’s lap. Mrs. Shah insults the family, and Ella furiously tells her off and kicks them out. George tries to discipline Ella, but it backfires and he ends up walking out regretfully; They meet at the fish and chips shop where they will, presumably, work their marriage out; Sajid comes running out, without his parka on, holding the model Saleem made, which causes a little family scuffle.
