Turns out Rachael and Carrie White are half sisters (father is Ralph White). Rachael’s mother was put into a mental hospital for schizophrenia when Rachael was a young girl. When Rachael finds out that her fellow popular classmates had been playing a cruel joke on her all along, she snaps and starts killing everybody at a party, using her telekinetic powers (the way Carrie White did). At first, she thought Jesse was in on the joke as well, but learns he really does love her, so she saves him from the burning building. Rachael dies in the fire.
