Martin Blank decides he wants to quit the business of being a professional assassin, so he returns back home to his high school sweetheart, Debi Newberry, whom he’s still in love with. The only problem is Grocer, another fellow assassin, who has other plans for him. Martin attends his 10-year high school reunion with Debi. An assassin attempts to kill Martin in the high school hallway. Martin manages to kill him instead, but when Debi catches him standing over the dead body, she freaks out and runs away, refusing to have anything to do with him. Rejected and heartbroken, Martin decides to finish his last assignment only to find out his target is Debi’s father, Bart Newberry (Mitch Ryan). Grocer tries to kill Bart, but Martin saves him and Debi. He kills Grocer and the other bad guys. He proposes to Debi and she accepts, with Bart’s blessing. They drive off in a convertible.
